Deal with Allergies this Holi with Monqst-FX

Carnival of colours, or victory of good over evil, the arrival of spring, end of winter, and for many a festive day to meet others, play and laugh, forget and forgive. Along with fond memories of gulal, rain dancing, pichkaris and bhang, if you have repeated nightmares of skin and eye allergies or other serious problems due to the colours, this article is for you.

Traditionally, natural powders derived from sandalwood, turmeric and flowers were used to celebrate Holi. However, ever since artificial colors were developed and found to be significantly cheaper than the natural sources, these new types of colors have begun dominating the market in India. These Holi colors are a risk all by themselves as many of them contain artificial ingredients that can causes severe skin allergies. Ingredients such as prussian blue and gentian violet are known causes of dermatitis (skin irritation or inflammation).

Skin Hazards During Holi Festival:

The dry colors generally used are Red gulal or colored talc known as “abir”.These are formulated as dry powders with a colorant and a base. The base may have contaminated starch or wheat flour. The colorants are allergens and irritant to the skin. To add sparkle mica dust is added to dry powders which is abrasive to the skin. The preference for darker and more longer-lasting colors led people to use synthetic colors. Most synthetic colors are made from oxidized metals or industrial dyes which are often toxic chemicals. Dry powders also cause irritation and allergies to skin, eyes and even the throat if inhaled.

While playing wet holi, the colors are mixed with water and sprayed by pichkaris or filled in balloons or poured through containers. Oxidized metals or industrial dyes mixed with engine oil or other solvents were often used in such wet colors.

In the recent times and with awareness and environmental concerns the trend to play holy with non-toxic, eco-friendly and homemade natural colors that are extracted from flower petals and sandalwood. These natural colors are easily prepared at home.

Skin Allergies

Eczema: One of the most common skin complications occurring due to effect of artificial colours. In this allergic condition, skin becomes scaly and appears to be inflamed. Besides, it has flaking and blisters that cause itchiness of highest degree.

Dermatitis: Atopic dermatitis is another plausible allergy occurring due to chemical reaction of colours. The allergy cause severe itching, pain and blistering.

Rhinitis: The allergic reaction is an inflammation of the nasal membrane, wherein one experiences nasal congestion, discharge, itching and sneezing.

Asthma: Artificial colours can also cause severe damage to the airways, or developing asthma. In this allergic condition, one experiences breathing difficulty and breath shortness.

Pneumonitis: Another possible allergic condition occurring due to inhalation of chemically treated colours is pneumonitis, wherein one experiences fever, chest tightness, fatigue and breathing difficulty.

Indirect Influence

Besides direct influence, chemically prepared colours can also act as toxins that get into body through skin pores, mouth, ears or nose. In this manner, these colours are the reason for causing toxicity within the body. Metal extracts are also used for preparation of chemical colours, which are also responsible for some serious health concerns.

Montekulast & Fexofinadine As Antiallergic:

Montelukast:

USES: Montelukast is used regularly to prevent the wheezing and shortness of breath caused by asthma and decrease the number of asthma attacks.

Montelukast is also used before exercise to prevent breathing problems during exercise (bronchospasm). This medication can help decrease the number of times you need to use your rescue inhaler.

This medication is also used to relieve symptoms of hay fever and allergic rhinitis (such as sneezing, stuffy/runny/itchy nose).

This medication does not work immediately and should not be used to treat sudden asthma attacks or other breathing problems. This drug works by blocking certain natural substances (leukotrienes) that may cause or worsen asthma and allergies. It helps make breathing easier by reducing swelling (inflammation) in the airways.

What is Fexofenadine?

USES: Fexofenadine is an antihistamine that reduces the effects of natural chemical histamine in the body. Histamine can produce symptoms of sneezing, itching, watery eyes, and runny nose.

Fexofenadine is used to treat the symptoms of seasonal allergies (hay fever) in adults and children.

Celebrate Feminism She Walks! She Leads!

A symbol of indomitable courage and power, the Gods finest and the most beautiful creation, whose mere absence is loss of fragrance of life, the one who bears, rears and nurtures the life of all. No need to understand them, they are simply meant to be loved.

The cycles of women’s energy bodies is a neglected area, within both conventional and new age spiritual teachings, and also within both mainstream and alternative healing systems.

Women’s Bodies: Energy Requirement:

Women’s energy bodies are more open, absorbent, and fluid than men’s. Women soak in more of the energies around us – which can become the fuel for intuition, but can also become a source of dispersion and mental distraction.

Adolescent Girls:

Adolescence is when these monthly cycles first kick into gear. In addition to being a phase of intense hormonal and physical changes (including in the brain), it is a period of intense psycho-spiritual changes. Just as a girl’s body is transforming into a women’s, her energy body is transforming into a women’s energy body. In addition to being absorbent, our energy bodies are more attraction-oriented.

The multi-faceted benefits of L-Carnitine in brain cells make it an important supplement that we can take to maintain and improve overall neurological functions.

Early Adulthood:

Owning our personal power is the most valuable thing we can do during this phase. It is the time when Girls does Conscious Understanding of Cycles.

It is the time when young age girls focus on developing personal power, and manifesting it concretely within their life, whether that be through higher learning, career, sports, the arts, and hobbies.

As one study put it, carnitine has "multiple physiological functions in major metabolic pathways which are essential for development and growth." (Giovannini 1991[1])

Pregnancy:

The developmental task of the Mother Stage is accepting responsibility. The Mother Stage is a time of the Journey Woman. For those that choose to have children, pregnancy can be an amazing time for developing your intuitive and creative abilities (nausea, backaches, and constipation aside, of course.)

Ideally, you have come into this phase with a well-developed sense of your personal power and cycles. During pregnancy, your energy body gradually becomes more and more open, which can be disconcerting if you are constantly around people.

Combination of L-Carnitine and Vitamin-E can be more effectively reduce the complication, eliminates muscle cramps experienced by Pregnant women and more importantly enhances energy level during pregnancy.

Motherhood: Carrying the Load, Balancing Energy Needs of Mother and Child

Mother Stage sexuality accesses new strengths, learned from the experience of childbirth and child nurturing. Whether you will have the time or energy to do so is another matter! Your energy body is now literally extended outside your body, to encompass your baby.
On an energy level, motherhood is a sacrifice, plain and simple. Hopefully, it is a sacrifice of love. If so, it can bring you as much back spiritually as you put into it.

In this age, Focus on striking the right energy balance between sustaining your child/children with energy appropriate for their age, and reclaiming your personal power as he/she/they grow up.

Perimenopause: Physical transition with fluctuating symptoms & signs

Just as this is a period of physical transition with fluctuating symptoms and signs, so it is on the energy. On the energetic level, the entire perimenopausal period is a prepatory one.
The monthly energy body cycles are starting to dissipate, and with appropriate preparation will settle into a permanent state of increased intuitive sensitivity and strength.

Personal life:

To become unstoppable to turn their dreams into reality, balancing of allow ourselves to receive, to collaborate, all the things.

“To Revive your Inbuilt Energy Consult your Doctor”

Life indeed would have looked incomplete had there not been there in our lives in the form of sisters, moms, wives and girlfriends. The support, care and affection they give us make them a special person in our life. We may also call them the architect of the society. Women’s day is about to arrive and we have yet another chance to show to each of the women in our life who has made us smile every time we felt down.

At Quest Biotech India Pvt. Ltd. We are celebrating the day of Feminism. We salute their hardwork, love and affection.

Our Motto is  to keep World Healthy and we are well determined to it.

Gum Diseases can Lead to Preterm Pregnancy or LBW

Poor oral health of mothers leads to poor oral health of children.

Your belly isn’t the only thing that’s swelling up in pregnancy days. Your gums may also be extra tender, swollen, red, sensitive and prone to bleeding during pregnancy, especially when you brush and floss.

The same pregnancy hormones that cause your mucus membranes to swell (and your sinuses to clog up) also inflame your gums from around week 15 of pregnancy on, making them more likely to bleed easily. Those hormones also leave your mouth more vulnerable to bacteria and plaque, both of which make for tender gums during pregnancy – and can cause gingivitis and tooth decay in some women if not treated properly.

About half mothers to be are likely to suffer from gum diseases during pregnancy:

As a result of hormonal changes and a relatively poor dental hygiene, gums tend to be excessively sensitive during pregnancy, causing problems like gingivitis (inflammation of the gums) and periodontitis (gum disease). Saliva, food and bacteria form a coating on your teeth called plaque and makes your gums prone to bleeding. The gums become red and swollen and may exhibit extreme sensitivity.

Symptoms of Gum Diseases:

  • Gum inflammation, redness and soreness
  • Bad mouth odour or taste develops
  • Tooth ache

Pregnant women with periodontal (gum) disease may be at a higher risk of problems such as early delivery or low birth weight babies.

Pregnancy Gingivitis:

The increased levels of progesterone during pregnancy puts pregnant women at a higher risk of developing dental problems as it causes an exaggerated response to plaque bacteria. Gingivitis is common in women during months 2 to 8 of pregnancy, and even though you may follow a healthy oral care routine, you still run at a risk of developing gingivitis during pregnancy.

It's true that the hormonal changes of pregnancy can lead to "pregnancy gingivitis." This produces swelling, bleeding, tenderness in the gums.

Gum Diseases and Premature Birth:

Significant studies have shown a link between poor dental hygiene and premature birth. Researchers of one study who published their results in The Journal of the American Dental Association found that pregnant women with chronic gum disease were four to seven times more likely to deliver prematurely (before gestational week 37) and underweight babies than mothers with healthy gums.

Prevent Gum Diseases in Pregnancy

The childbearing year, including the preconception period, provides an opportunity for preventive dental health care to improve the health of a mother and subsequently her infant.

Oral Health Benefits of Xylitol base Mouthwash:

Xylitol decreases the incidence of dental caries by increasing salivary flow and pH13 and reducing the number of cariogenic (MS) and periodontopathic (Helicobacter pylori) bacteria, plaque levels, xerostomia, gingival inflammation, and erosion of teeth.

Adjunctive therapy with xylitol base Mouthwash used three to four times daily is effective in reducing maternal transmission of S. mutans.

Xylitol is a “generally regarded as safe” (GRAS) sweetener approved and available in the United States. Xylitol inhibits bacterial growth and results in decreased acid production and cavity formation. Decreased bacterial load also limits the potential passage of S. mutans from mother to infant after birth.

Benefits of Hale Mouthwash in Preventing Gum Diseases During Pregnancy:

1. Hale Mouthwash is Antiseptic & Antiplaque mouthwash which is Safe & effective in Pregnancy with Zero Alcohol XYLITOL base formula.

Antibiotic: Launching New Antibiotics - Cefqst-O

Antibiotics, also known as antibacterials and antimicrobials, revolutionized medicine during the later half of the 20th century. But as time goes on, the success of antibiotics may be completely cancelled out by their combative counterparts: resistant bacteria.

Humans have overused antibiotics simply by harnessing them to treat all sorts of infections from pneumonia to strep throat — but also by sometimes taking too much of them, or infusing them into agricultural systems, animals, and food products , as the CDC illustrates . This overuse has opened the door for bacteria to evolve into resistant strains to beat out drugs. We’re now in a place where changes desperately need to be made in order to prevent millions of deaths from antibiotic resistance in the coming decades. These microscopic microbes seem to be smarter than us.

The Discovery of Antibiotics:

"One sometimes finds what one is not looking for"

1928. Alexander Fleming, a Scottish biologist, took the fight against infections to a new level when he identified penicillin, making this the year that the modern antibiotic era began.

The discovery had apparently been an accident. Fleming had left an uncovered Petri dish of Staphylococcus bacteria near an open window in his basement lab, and in the morning found that mold growth had inhibited the bacteria. Penicillin, which comes from a type of fungi known as Penicillin rubens , became the first compound to be used officially as an antibiotic.

How Do Antibiotics Work?

Various types of antibiotics work in either of the following two ways:

A Bactericidal antibiotic kills the bacteria generally by either interfering with the formation of the bacterium's cell wall or its cell contents.

Penicillin, daptomycin, fluoroquinolones, metronidazole, nitrofurantoin and co-trimoxazole are some example of Bactericidal antibiotics.

A Bacteriostatic antibiotic stops bacteria from multiplying by interfering with bacterial protein production, DNA replication, or other aspects of bacterial cellular metabolism.

Some Bacteriostatic antibiotics are tetracyclines, sulphonamides, spectinomycin, trimethoprim, chloramphenicol, macrolides and lincosamides.

Problems With Antibiotics

The success of antibiotics has been impressive. At the same time, however, excitement about them has been tempered by a phenomenon called antibiotic resistance. This is a problem that surfaced not long after the introduction of penicillin and now threatens the usefulness of these important medicines.

Almost from the beginning, doctors noted that in some cases, penicillin was not useful against certain strains of Staphylococcus aureus (bacteria that causes skin infections). Since then, this problem of resistance has grown worse, involving other bacteria and antibiotics. This is a public health concern. Increasingly, some serious infections have become more difficult to treat, forcing doctors to prescribe a second or even third antibiotic when the first treatment does not work.

In light of this growing antibiotic resistance, many doctors have become much more careful in the way they prescribe these medicines. They see the importance of giving antibiotics only when they’re absolutely necessary.

In fact, one recent survey of office-based physicians, published in JAMA: The Journal of the American Medical Association in 2002, showed that doctors lowered the number of antibiotic prescriptions they prescribed for children with common respiratory infections by about 70% during the 2010s.

A Look Back

Serious diseases that once killed thousands of youngsters each year have been almost eliminated in many parts of the world because of the widespread use of childhood vaccinations.

In much the same way, the discovery of Antimicrobial drugs (antibiotics) was one of the most significant medical achievements of the 20th century. There are several types of antimicrobials—antibacterials, antivirals, antifungals, and antiparasitic drugs. Of course, antimicrobials aren’t magic bullets that can heal every disease. When used at the right time, they can cure many serious and life-threatening illnesses.
